As part of the Zero Emission Day 2025 celebrations, the ACS Student Chapter of VIT-AP University organized a Carbon Footprint Calculator Booth. The booth aimed to provide students with an opportunity to understand their individual impact on the environment and to encourage them to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.

The booth was designed to be interactive, allowing participants to calculate their personal carbon footprint based on their travel, energy consumption, and lifestyle choices.

Highlights of the Event

• More than 100 students visited the booth throughout the day.
• Each participant calculated their personal carbon footprint with the help of ACS Student Chapter volunteers.
• Students received practical suggestions and awareness material on how to reduce emissions and make eco-friendly choices.
• A Pledge Ceremony was conducted where participants collectively pledged to decrease their carbon emissions and contribute towards a sustainable future.
